First, drop by for a few Sundays. Visit a
Sunday School Class and stay for our Worship Services.
Second, we accept membership in (1) of three very easy ways:
-Profession of Faith in Jesus Christ as Savior and Lord,
followed by Baptism*.
-Transfer of letter from another Baptist Church of "like
Faith & Order**", provided the individual has been Baptized* by a
Baptist Church of "like Faith and Order**".
-By a simple Statement, provided a Church letter is not
available and that the individual has been Baptized* by a Baptist
Church of "like Faith and Order**."
*Baptism or to be Baptized means to be immersed in
water. The original Greek word for Baptism means "to be immersed" in
water. It's very simple. The pastor presents you to the church, asks
if you have accepted Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior, he then says
"I now Baptize you in the name of the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit",
you are then briefly immersed in water by kneeling back in our
Baptistery.
**like Faith and Order means that the
church you are transferring from is a Baptist Church that believes
the same as we do. If you aren't sure or still have questions, our
